Which is better Paid Ranking or Organic Ranking?

Category: SEO News & FAQ Posted by Admin
All SEO company know that Google mainly displays two types of results on the Search Engine Ranking Page (SERP) one being organic and the other paid ranking. The main question faced by people wanting to optimize their website is which is better Paid Ranking or Organic Ranking?

organic or paid ranking

All SEO services providers have different methods of increasing the ranking of a website. Organic ranking refers to the use of links, content, keywords, website design, directories, forums, blogs etc., so that it influences the ranking of your site. It does not carry any cost but needs time and hard work. In organic ranking your site is ranked on the basis of the way it is optimized for the search engines.

The downside of organic ranking is sometimes it may take longer than expected to rank a site and also it is possible you may get lost in the process. A proper organic search engine ranking strategy needs to be formed to do it in the most beneficial way.

Paid ranking means you pay the search engines for listing your site on the search engine ranking page. They are generally displayed on the right hand side of the page under sponsored links and known as Pay-Per-Click (PPC). A high budget SEO campaign can go for PPC as the sites for the PPC are ranked in the sponsored links category on the basis of the highest bidder for a particular keyword. Every time you receive a click you have to pay the per click bid value to search engine. It is quick and ranks your site immediately without needing optimization which takes a long time.

Both these methods of search engine ranking are equal with their own limitations and advantages. If you have unlimited budget for immediate results then paid ranking is for you. But if you are working under limited budget and need long term ranking then you should go for organic ranking. Most of the SEO Company use pay-per-click method in the initial stage and then switch to organic ranking.
