Why not to buy links?

Category: Link Building Posted by Admin
Links from various sources are very important for increasing the ranking of a website. Hence most of the SEO consultants tend to involve in its manipulation. They come up with different techniques of getting bulk links. Search engines might not have any objection for some of these but might penalize or blacklist some others. The search engines are so programmed that they can detect when something fishy is going on. But the fact is the master mind behind them is of a human and it is only humans who can beat it.

paid organic links

One of the indications for search engines about wrongly built links is the speed with which they are built. A genuine link building process is gradual. But, when done wrongly links flow in suddenly. This arise the suspicion of the search engine.  Still you can find many SEO services providers who promise thousands of links within a short period of time. Any guesses? How they can commit so? It is because a part of their strategy is to buy links.

Of course by buying links you will have many links to your site in a short spam. But wait think about the consequences? It can get you penalized or blacklisted. Obviously you will be penalized or blacklisted only if caught. Penalization directly affects your search engine ranking meaning if you were ranking on the first page you will be directly thrown to the 10th page. From where coming to the first page will be a long distance and involve lot of money and time.

However webmasters or bloggers who buy or sell links for advertising purpose should not worry. This is considered as valid by search engines and you will not be penalized. Make sure to use rel=”nofollow” attribute or redirect links to some other middle page made not accessible to search engines through a robots.txt file to designate advertising links.
