Philips Moda 228C3 and 248C3 Models Have Been Announced

Philips Moda is the new series of LCD monitors that is going to be introduced into the market by the end of July. The monitors are slim and bear an attractive appearance. The screen diagonals are coated with a black plastic coating which contrasts well with the back white plastic cover. The base is made of aluminum for the desired stiffness, offering the stability of the screen.

Both offers a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Based on TN matrix, the screen assures a response time of 2ms and enables 170 degree viewing angles horizontally and 160 degree vertically.

The monitors 228C3 and 248C3 use W-LED (White LED) backlighting technology and are capable of displaying the image instantly as soon as they receive the signal. Due to W-LED, both the monitors offer brighter display and better contrast compared to the traditional LCD displays. The monitors are more efficient in terms of energy consumption too.

Further they incorporate advanced technologies like Smartkolor, SmartTxt and Smart display technologies. The 228C3 and 248C3 models will be available in most electronic stores by the end of this month at price £169 and £199 repectively.
