Samsung introduces exceptionally thin 11.6 inch laptop of Samsung series 9 and weighs 2.31 pounds. Its official price in US is found to be $ 1,199.

The notebook specifications are:

•   Intel Core i3 380UM processor
•   Intel HD 3000 graphics
•   2GB DDR3 memory
•   64GB solid state drive (SSD)

The beautifully curvatures of the gadget along with the price tag and the configuration it carries is sure to give a tough competition to MacBook Air.

The Samsung series 9 laptop comprises of 11.6 inch LED display, 1.3 MP HD webcam, runs windows 7, a pair of 1.5 (1.5 x 2) stereo speakers. It has an 81 key backlit keyboard and a 6 cell Li-ion battery.

For connectivity it offers Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, WiDi / Wi-max, Ethernet LAN.
