Apple Sends out Media Invites for March 2

Apple yet again sets the rumour mills churning with its announcement of an event on March 2. It did not announce what the event is going to be about, the invitation card is a calendar leaf, with a march 2 tear off that says "Come see what 2011 will be the year of." But the speculations of apple unveiling its magnificent gadget the iPad2 are ripe.

The event is going to be held at San Francisco at the Yerba Buena Centre for Arts. Earlier in January 2010 the same venue witnessed the unveiling of the iPad 1 which went on to be a great success. The new iPad is said to be lighter, with a better screen and laced with dual cameras with face time support and a Qualcomm dual-mode GSM/CDMA chip.
