A new GPS receiver module called GSD4t from the house of CSR Inc., the root company of SiRF Technology Holdings was announced today. Incorporating the SiRFstarIV architecture with SiRFaware, the GPS receiver uses least battery power to locate places in a jiffy. The GPS receiver can find places even in feeble network conditions with the help of this high performing software. And to do this it consumes 0.05 to 0.5 mA current.

The GSD4t GPS receiver module is above par the predecessor SiRFstarIII as it has jammer that forbids interference from radios, Bluetooth, WiFi or other networks. Also it consumes less power than its earlier versions by as much as two and half times. With all this it seems a profitable deal. And for first hand experience one can definitely try this GPS module.
