To formulate a mobile broadband one needs USB modems and routers as requisites but what if one can do it without these peripherals? Now this whole phenomenon can be achieved by your mobile phone. Incredulous? You better believe it.

With Nokia E51 mobile phone which consists of Symbian S60 platform and also has an embedded application Joikuspot, one can formulate a WiFi network. The Joikuspot converts the 3G signals into a WiFi network which can connect any WiFi device. A free and paid version of it are available, the free one limits itself by supporting only http protocols. While the paid one supports all protocols enabling you with email and other facilities you have longed for.

With such a Herculean task at hand, the device has a low battery life. Parallel working on 3G connection and WiFi network the battery loses out on all its energy reserves. The advantage is not carrying additional peripherals with you when you are on the go. Only your cell phone will suffice all the essentials.

The Joikuspot application can cater to Symbian S60 only, WMWifiRouter works the same for Windows mobile devices which consist of 3G and WiFi, but there is dearth of such applications for other iPhones. So better opt for Windows mobile or a S60 imbibed system. And reach out for your WiFi network anytime and anywhere!!
