In the midst of top notch iPod dock, docking station with a speaker as well wouldn’t be a bad idea, isn’t it? Kudos to Maxell for rolling its new portable MXSP-D160 iPod speaker dock that is so very fascinating a dock!

Maxell MXSP-D160 can be easily juiced up with an included AC mains adapter or by three AA batteries and of course, this speaker dock also offers a 165mm diameter footprint, paving way for fitting snugly in even the most crowded of places.

On the downside, though the Maxell MXSP-D160 iPod speaker dock comes along with a 3.5mm line in socket for connecting other audio equipment, it lacks USB connection which is indeed a big limitation. Information on pricing and availability is yet to be disclosed!
