The connected GPS market doesn’t seem as lucrative as it was before after having witnessing the consequences on Dash and Magellan’s hardware sales. Both of them are suffering a major halt on their sales growth trajectories, however Telenav still optimistic and has recently aired Telenav Shotgun GPS Navigation System worth $300.

What’s makes Telenav more sanguine are the reviews in which it has been rated a good start. It may not be pretty easier for Telenov to compete consistently for a longer time however it may on lines of features which includes real-time traffic and weather, live POI searches, gas pricing, and online trip planning, all enclosed in the usual Telenav PND UI and boosted by 11 million preloaded POIs.

Technical specification:

•    Display: 4.3-inch touchscreen LCD
•    Innovative: $12 per month GPRS subscription
•    Features: real-time traffic and weather, live POI searches, online trip planning,
•    Preloaded POIs: 11 million.
•    Dimension: 4.9" x 3.1" x 0.75"

Price and availability: although the GPS subscription fee may bring bit disinclination three months free contract may drive a mass of customers. It can do well being priced at $300 or £190. Those who opt for a 2-year plan can get it cheaper for $239 ($9.96/month),  and a 1-year plan contract costs $129 ($10.75/month).
