There is a clear sign of relief for most of us as the skyrocketing oil prices crossing the $120 a few months ago have finally pulled back from their all time highs. Generally all GPS systems are capable of directing you towards the closest gas station, but here is what you must not have come across for sure – TomTom taking a giant leap forward with some of its models capable of directing you to the cheapest gas station in the area.

    TomTom GO 720

The models compatible to this amazing service includes GO-930, GO 920T, GO-920, GO-730, GO-720, 330XLS, 330, 130s and the 130. The TomTom HOME software can easily be downloaded from their website itself and all you need to do just connect your TomTom to your home PC or mac and the synch process begins automatically. Simply click on TomTom go and then the device will download the latest fuel prices. Infact you can even search by the grade of fuel you use.

You definitely need to consider factors like distance and several others but the service is worth having it as the subscription application is priced at $14.95 a year which is quite reasonable given the fact that gas prices have been on the rise in the recent past!
