Apple iPhone, the touchscreen handset that seems to have captivated the US techno-savvies and other western countries in its first phase launch is going to dazzle gizmo freaks of 20 more countries in the second phase of its international iPhone 3G rollout on August 22nd.

iPhone is ingrained with all 3G features and is twice as fast as the existing mobile phones. The phone also has in-built GPS system, which facilitates as navigation and positioning tool. Advance Apple iphone 3g accessories amplifies the utility manifold.

Apple COO Tim Cook said the shortage is a "factor of the overwhelming demand. I am very pleased with the production ramp. We're confident enough in the production ramp that we will be launching 20 additional countries on Aug. 22." Carrier said. Although there is not any official information regarding which 20 fortunate countries will it be, however some of them are enlisted ahead.

SingTel has announced to launch the iPhone 3G in Singapore. Bharti Airtel and Vodafone to launch iPhone in India, EMT will be catering to Estonia’s, and Telefonica to the Czech Republic’s 

Orange will be the exclusive provider of the Apple handset in Romania and plans to offer customers the "full iPhone 3G experience." Globe Telecom to bring iPhone 3G to the Philippines alongside special prepaid and post paid plans. In Hungary’s largest wireless carrier T-Mobile to launch it nationwide

Leading cell phone makers like Nokia, Motorola and Samsung have stepped up their R&D efforts to bring feature-rich phones to compete with iPhone.

Another 30 countries are expected to be added as part of a third phase that will take place before year's end.
