Mobile
phones have turned into smartphones quite a long time back now as most of us
use them as multimedia instruments (e-mails; web browser; organiser; music)
instead of just using them as an instrument meant for making or receiving
calls! This fact has compelled handset manufacturers to add Wi-Fi feature in
their phones!
Pantech
has joined the rat-race competition and rolled out a new WPP-8000 WiFi cell
phone. It got launched in South Korea through LG Dacom with the phone making
use of the LG Daco's myLG070 service that indeed allows users to access the
Internet using a wireless LAN connection known as iHub, which means that you will
be able to fetch several snippets of news such as world happenings; weather
information; as also stock details without additional data charges.
What’s
more, Pantech WPP-8000 Wi-Fi cell phone boasts other added features such as Caller
ID support and text messaging and as you can see in the picture, it has got a
small display!
