    The latest rumour to hit gaming arena is that the gaming giant Sony is going to base its PSP2 on PowerVR GPU just like iphone 3GS. The new PlayStation Portable called SGX543MP with four central operating parts works at 200 MHz mode. With these features, the device is apt for portable use and hopefully would do justice to many PSP accessories.

    It is said that GP-GPU chip saves power as it forbids the need of a separate CPU and hence speeds up the tasks. The chip along with handling graphics task makes computing easier than the earlier PSPs. Well… it is really blurring right now and with little info we can’t justify this rumour right now.

    Lately rumoured PS3 firmware Updates release has been confirmed. With PS3 games and PS3 accessories already rocking the gaming coliseum, the Firmware release would make things finer. It is believed that this one would come up with a reputation feature through which one can have the know how of other player’s reputation, something similar to Xbox Live. Rating players would account for genuine players in the game. This feature is for all players in the PlayStation network. Whether the feature would result in some kind of action towards the player is yet to be known.

    The firmware would allow downloading game patches as well. Certain portion of the gaming arena also talks about some startling changes in the User Interface which is great news for all of us gamers. The updates are beleived to make a trandsition in the PS3 games that one has yet not imageined. The release date is yet under wraps. So let’s expect the best from the house of Sony.

    In the competitive gaming zone, Sony has unveiled the yet to come in existence motion controller for PS3 games. This one seems as promising as the very famed PS3 accessories. The controller’s structure appears like a stick on which there is a lighted bulb. The stick is supposed to enrobe controlling buttons on it.

    Without an IR port, PS3 can’t be used to satiate our longing for watching Blu-ray movies despite an all-in-one remote. PS3 accessories need to be enhanced to cater a movie experience to the gamer. Logitech has taken a step in this direction in terms of Logitech Harmony Adapter.

    The arch rival of Nintendo in the Gaming battlefield, Sony is rumoured to announce its new high calibre PS3 motion sensing remote at E3 expo. It is said that the remote is designed to out market Wii remotes. Wii remote being one of the most sought after PS3 accessories has already set a high standard for all.

    Sony’s claim to develop a remote which works on the pull and push movements of the game. When amalgamated with the costliest console PS3, this would formulate a good mix of superior graphics and cut throat gaming strikes. When launched this remote would certainly get some eyes out of the Wii gaming scene.

    The competition has always been tough and now it is getting hotter. With the heat on and the grapevine floating, we can certainly expect something startling to look forward to!!
