    What if you have a camera that lets you refocus the images even after hours, days and weeks? Lytro with its new light field camera promises to offer you these in tiny little boxes. The camera captures the entire light field in a picture, allowing you to focus on individual elements.

    Its shape shows resemblance to a kid’s toy, more than anything else. This little wonder is made from anodized aluminum and silicone skin beautifully hiding the biggest shift in camera technology, apart from digital cameras. The camera comprises of an 8x zoom lens with an f/2 aperture, and glass touchscreen around the back, which allows you to touch any portion of the image to reset the focus on that part of the image. The light field sensor can capture 11 million light rays.

    The camera only features two buttons, power on and shutter. The 1.46 inch touch screen lets you view the pictures and spontaneously change their focus. It also removes the typical lag while taking pictures on a regular camera. It is the first one of its kind, allows you to focus the pictures after being taken, amazing isn’t it? The cameras are available in two versions, the 8GB version can hold 350 pictures and cost $399 whilst the 16GB version can hold 750 pictures and costs $499.

    Now you can treasure your beautiful moments and can share your photos on facebook and have your friends and family members manipulate the same. Lytro cameras will hit the market in “early 2012”.     Asus announced the launch of its Asus Eee pad Transformer which can act both as a laptop and as a tablet. As the name implies the Eee pad can transform itself into a laptop or tablet with a detachable display screen. The device is stylish,solid yet light weight (680 gms) , has a tactile design pattern on the shell to ensure your hands a firm grip and avoid slipping.

    Hercules is planning to release two new Linux based ecafe netbooks, Slim HD and EX HD this April. The netbooks have a 10 inch of display screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600, 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB or 16 GB of flash memory.

    The Slim HD netbook is small and light like a feather with a weigh of 1.9 pounds, an inch thick whilst the larger EX HD is 1.1 inch and weighs 2.5 pounds. Both these support a battery life of 13 hours in real world.

    They are Linux based and incorporate ARM Coretex-A8 processors. For connectivity purpose have 3 USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet port, mini USB port, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and an SDHC card slot. The EX HD model also has additional features like an HDMI port and multi-media touch controls.

    The prices of the eCafe Slim HD and eCafe EX HD ought to be $229 and $269 respectively.
