    Nokia recently showed off a working prototype of a kinetic device with OLED screen at Nokia World in London. This is a concept device and is not going to be available in the market soon. You need bend and twist to switch across the functionalities.

    Nokia’s kinetic concept device though not the first flexible concept gadget but it’s the first one to go beyond the mockup and rendering, come out as a real, usable product. You need to hold the device with your two hands and flex the gadget, along with the screen to interact with it. You bow in and out to zoom in and out of the photos in the gallery. One more bow out draws you to the main menu, whilst you twists the sides to move forward and backward.


    Twisting mechanism of the device would further add thrill to gaming, where you flex to move left or right and bow in and out to increase the speed and brakes. Rather many modifications still ought to be done on this, and this is not the final product, a mere prototype. There are many questions regarding to its functioning like how to make a call, send an SMS or how much internal storage it offers, OS, RAM it integrates, processor and such. Also its quite inconvenient to access it with one hand, Nokia must take in to consideration such and many other aspects prior to designing the final product.

    Microsofts triple flip concept phone is in real sense a smartphone and took the clamshell feature to new apex. Today the mobile phones are coming up with new and innovative designs to offer a tough competition to its rivals. This triple flip phone with multiple keypads is designed by Schultzeworks.

    Researchers of this phone have listed seven reasons as to why it should attract the people and interest them.

    The double clamshell provides enhanced protection to the display screen as a large portion of the screen always reamins closed. Between the upper and lower flip a narrow portion remains open which displays data like callers name, date, time and day of week etc.

    The device opens up simply by pressing the latches on the left and the right sides of the phone body as to expand to its full length. The design of the mobile phone is as such that it allows the speaker to speak directly into the microphone and provides a crystal clear hearing.

    Further the smartphone is apt for watching movies and videos. The flips are rotated to about 270 degrees to provide user a comfortable angle for watching the movie. You can also connect it to your TV for high resolution.

    The gadget also allows video calling while you are performing some other tasks, i.e. hands free video calling. The concept phone has other advanced features too that are shown in the video.

    Numerous concept phones are frequently hitting the market now and then, but at times i wonder that whether they are going to be hitting the market or else simply being a concept only. As most of the concept gadgets barely turn out and make it into reality. Jeremy Innes Hopkins has designed the Nokia Kinetic Concept Phone that works on the principle of kinetic energy. The idea defined by the designer is ingenious.

    The phone is designed with concise and offers the looks that are captivating and eye-catchy. To our surprise the concept gadget phone bounces back and stands on the arrival of call or message. In case you do not want to receive the call you can just tap back and the call will disconnect and the concept phone will once again acquire the landscape position.   The secret lies in the principle that this Nokia concept phone utilizes. The implicit electric magnet at the bottom of the body changes the gravity of phone when a call or SMS is received.

    The phone is sleek and has mirrored display, camera at the back, speakers, keypad, USB port etc. There are metal bezels at both sides and the upper half of the phone is just 8mm thick whilst the bottom is 18mm. Let’s hope that this fabulous and awe-inspiring concept phone become reality.

    The German designer Robert Dabi has designed a minimalist wrist watch which he named “Zero Wristwatch”. The watch has turned out to be a beautiful and immaculate bracelet or a fashionable and chic accessory. The watch is named so as it has eliminated the need of buttons, ciphers and other parts as to give it a completely innovative and stylish look.  The gadget design is simple and sleek with no confusion.

The constantly changing of the patterns indicates the passing of time with the outer circle showing the minutes and the inner circle representing the hours.     Apple has been known to compete with itself and introduce better and better products. When nobody can beat the gadgets neither in terms of sale nor design, apple goes ahead and surpasses itself by being all the more inventive and innovating and overcoming the setbacks of the previous gadget. The iPhone4 faced an initial flack due to the reception problem which the company acknowledged and provided free iPhone4 cases that helped get rid of the same, and in case anyone had already bought the bumper case they were offered refunds.

    The latest gadget news is that Apple is rumoured to be in the process of testing the iPhone 5 which will overcome the signal problems in the iPhone4. It is said to include the NFC technology and is most likely to provide facility of making payments from the phone, so it will function as a Smartphone with a credit card combined. Apple hired Benjamin Vigier a very famous and known expert from the industry for developing its payment mobiles technology on the lines of the Japanese phones from which one can make subway payments and book tickets.  It is going on under serious, development and testing procedures and its release is being anticipated early next year.

    It seems it will offer a great never like before innovative gadgets, and sure all the fans and geeks are eagerly looking forward to have a look and maybe get the gadget as soon as it hits the market.

    Are you the one who’s fascinated by hi tech gadgets and newer inventions which look sleek and work great? I found some futuristic laptop designs and immediately got captivated by the look of those. Hope you enjoy and feel good watching these futuristic gadgets and amazing concepts for laptop designs.

    The Canova dual screen opens like a notebook and probably has touch screen feature. Has to have it’s a futuristic gadget after all. There so key board feature though.

    The Vaio zoom laptop is ultra thin with a transparent flap converting to a screen. It looks cool and fascinating.


    3. Samsung-Amoled:

    Wow! That’s what you feel to look at this amazing piece of a gadget. Ultra slim and ”slims in” so full points to the design. Can even be laid flat so i think it will be better than the standing screen to operate.

    Iron your clothes with the latest U button iron, well this iron is still in concept but soon it will turn to reality. As we all know it’s damn difficult to iron the clothes which have buttons and you cannot easily iron the part nearer to the buttons. For this issue the U button iron is made. It’s a cool gadget, the name U is given as it has a U shape in front to glide near the buttons.

    You can wear a fully ironed shirt and can look smarter; a well iron shirt elevates your personality. This iron has a push button and on pressing it the A shape of the iron goes in to the button part and press it properly, by pressing the push button again the A part will come out, an you will be ready with a complete iron shirt. Its easy to use this iron and it suffices 2 sharp standings, and with this you can make the iron stand while pressing your clothes. Reality bites, if concepts are so lovely and innovative, I hope it soon turns to reality.
