If you have knowledge on SEO then you can either work for a company or be a self employer. The best part is you can reap the profits based on your own efforts and are not dependent on others. For example if you have the skills for a Front Office Executive you cannot be a self employer. SEO is a good opportunity for those who want to be own boss.


It is a known fact that SEO based web design can definitely boost the ranking of a site. Hence a web designer who has knowledge of SEO has better growth chances. For those who are in the marketing profession SEO can be of greater help to change the way the work is done by giving smarter ways to gain clients and information related to them. SEO has lot to offer those who love adding more to their knowledge base.


All these were the benefits of SEO but when we look at the flip side we can see only one negative and that is SEO is dependent on the search engines which keep changing their algorithms. It can happen that you have followed all the set theories for improving the ranking of a site but the site is unable to show higher on the SERP for the reason that Google has started considering something new and not that what you have implemented on your site.


This means you will have to learn about the new changes made in the algorithms and adopt a new strategy for ranking a site higher on the search engines. Hence the SEOs need to be patient and willing to re do their work with amendments and of course no complaints.
