12 Feb, 2010
Content is the core of SEO, website optimisation without content is simply impossible because it is content for which people will be searching the Internet. But there are certain rules which can create such an interesting, informative and highly ranked content. SEO copywriting skills explained in details will deal with all such skills requires to produce such a copy which will not only do well in Google but also be useful to the people.

For a SEO services company SEO copywriting is much more than including the keywords wherever you think they will fit. It takes proper planning to produce a good copy. Content suffering from quality will do no wonders in attracting people to a site. While writing a SEO copy put in all the efforts and the best words possible.

There are many other things that go into SEO copy writing apart from planning the copy beforehand. We have a few of them mentioned here:

  •     Once you plan the copy it is important to select the key phrases or keywords you wish to target. It is recommended to have at least 3 keywords on hand. This will not make the copy sound repetitive.

  •     The number of words for a copy is a critical question. You can go for lengthy or small articles but try to keep them at least 250 words or more. This will give you enough space to convey your message to the customers.

  •     Let the copy sound natural. The keywords used should not sound as if forced in the copy. This can be achieved by thinking of the idea before hand and then analyzing if it gives you chance to put in the keywords. If the answer is yes then go ahead and use the thought but if the answer is no then think of something else to write.

  •     Try to include the keywords in the heading and subheadings only if it sounds ok to do so. If not then live it. There is no fixed rule that you will not rank good if you do not include the keywords in the headings and sub headings.

  •     You can use 1 or 2 keywords in each paragraph of the article. Again make sure the keywords used suit the flow of the content of the paragraph. Once you use them read the copy and justify if the keywords are nicely used or not.

  •     Highlighting the keywords is also a good idea. For this you can use bold italics and underline as well as some different font style and size for the keywords.
