is a tool to include the keywords the company wishes to target on to the website. Its usefulness to the customers or site visitors comes second. Here are a few things to avoid while doing SEO copywriting:
Inclusion of keywords in content is obvious but it should not be done to the extent that you include as many keywords as possible. This will result in uninteresting and irrelevant content.
You make a site for two major audiences one the search engines and other the user. Majorly SEOs optimize website for the search engines for if you are visible on search engines only then people will be able to find you. But it is also important to strike a balance between the two. You should make an attempt to please both.
The correct selection of keywords is also very crucial. If you are not an expert at it then ask some professional to do it for you. Again do not simply rely on the keywords they ask you to write on. Select the keywords that would best fit in the copy.
Often keywords are difficult to include in the copy like "SEO company free advice". It is important to include it but not at the cost of sentence flow or grammar. If you do so they sound very much forced in and out of place.
Choose keywords that are relevant to the content. This will make your copy more interesting and relevant. For example if your page is about SEO services you should not include apple iPhone.
It is a human tendency to err and many times keywords are wrongly spelled. When a SEO copywriter is given the task of including the wrongly spelled keyword a point should be made not to use the correct spelling anywhere in the content.
Try something new with the way you use keywords in your copy. Keywords should not be placed in the same pattern always. It looks very degrading.
Often in an article you will find more than three different places or sentences where you can fit in a keyword. But you should not do it.
